Our three string kits have what you need to build your first cigar box guitar.
All you need is a piece of hardwood (as described in our Guitar World feature) and you will be ready to rock the box in no time at all.
Basic kit includes
- Cigar box
(will vary from photo, wood
covered paper included, all wood available as
an upgrade)
- Heavy Duty Chrome Tuners
- Medium Gauge Strings for
GDg tuning
- Piezo Disk with 8 inch lead
- Long Shaft 1/4 Jack
- Two each #8 x1 1/2 screws
for nut and bridge.

It may be small in size but it packs a big punch! These are all hand-made by Elmar Zeilhofer in Vienna, Austria. Check out Chris Fillmore testing one out! It has a very full bright sound that sounds like nothing we have heard before.
We are now offering Original-Flatpup for Three and Four String Cigar Box Guitars (FP3 and FP4) with the scalloped wooden frames. Add one of our Electric Guitar Harnesses and wiring your CBG will be as simple as connecting the two leads.
